  I used to always get their made to order sandwiches from the deli, as well as recommend friends to do so. Today was the 1st time in a while and it will be my last! There was so little meat that I had to say something, her response in an unfriendly tone "80 grams, that's our policy!"
  If this is chain wide I will never go to Safeway again. When going there specifically for a sandwich or deli, I would almost always buy other items. No surprise Sobeys & Safeway are losing money hand over fist nowadays.

  Safeway has fresh produce (though a bit pricey).
  
  I also enjoy their donuts! They also have the BEST Havarti cheese at the deli. Danesberg, the brand they carry, is the creamiest and most flavorful Havarti I have had (and I usually try Havarti everywhere i come across it).
